Excellent resources for anyone new to the JV series synths are available for download at the Roland US website. Amongst other things, there´s a rather good "manual" for how to set up and use the OEM version of SoundDiver shipped with the JV1010 - infinitely better than the Introductory Tour document supplied with the JV. Also: If you are having problems with the Sdiver communicating with your JV, try installing the latest update for the OEM Sdiver available at the e-magic website. In my case Sdiver couldn't find my JV1010 until I installed the update - whereupon it found the synth on the first go!

I have a problem as well: In the file menu in my SoundDiver there's no "Save Preferences As" option. And when I close Sdiver I get an error message to the effect that the program cannot find the "JV-XP Preferences.PRF" file. This file is, however, present in the very directory where the program states that it cannot find it! I would greatly appreciate any help on this matter.
